At Eleyge LLC ("we", "our", or "us"), we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how your information is handled when you use the Talk To Type (3T) Chrome Extension.

1. Audio Data Collection & Processing (Strict No-Store Policy)

Our core functionality involves transcribing your voice into text. We process this data with strict security and privacy guarantees:

• Temporary Processing: When you record audio using the extension, the audio file is held in a temporary memory buffer and sent directly to our secure, serverless cloud proxy via HTTPS.
• OpenAI Whisper API: Our proxy forwards the audio to the OpenAI API for transcription. OpenAI does not use data submitted via their API to train their models.
• Instant Deletion: As soon as the transcription is returned, your audio file and the transcribed text are immediately and permanently deleted from our servers.
• No Database Storage: We do not store, save, or log your audio recordings or their transcriptions in any database, anywhere.

2. Information We Collect

To provide you with our service and manage your subscription, we collect the following minimal data:

• Account Information: Your email address and a unique User ID generated when you sign up using Firebase Authentication.
• Subscription Status: Whether you are on a Free or Pro plan, and how many minutes of audio you have transcribed in the current billing cycle (to enforce plan limits).

3. Third-Party Services

We use industry-standard, secure third-party services to operate Talk To Type:

• OpenAI: For processing audio transcriptions via their secure API.
• Stripe: For processing payments and managing subscriptions. We never see or store your credit card information.
• Google Firebase: For secure user authentication and cloud hosting infrastructure.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information or audio data with any third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
